Poor light stopped play

Well that's what they say in cricket I believe. The weather has pretty wet and as a consequence natural light has not been good for painting, so I have been playing with anew toy, a wireless remote release for my digital camera and I am hoping that this will help me get some good closeup shots of wildlife, hopefully ignoring the camera if I'm not stuck behind it. These are some test shots I took in the garden to try the setup. They are Goldfinches who seem to be eating me out of house and home at the moment.
