Another fresh challenge

Many of my friends know I am not noted for my skills in the gardening department, but I took a photograph of a flower in the garden which was so stunning I felt I had to try and capture it in paint. This is the result, when I get a moment I will add it to my website www.artyman.co.uk

Another completed Commission

I have just completed this commissioned painting for someone on Ebid A different challenge from my usual seascape and landscape work. Painted in acrylic, the finished piece is 15"x 11". New Art, Re-vamped Website and an Exhibition to Boot!!

As a result of having a temporary studio space these past 5 months or so, I've been quietly working away and have managed to build up a nice array of new daubings.

Rather than show the new paintings one by one on my existing website, I decided to expose them to the world at large in one giant fanfare with the arrival of my newly re-vamped website www.thepaintdistresser.com.

And to top it all, City Arts (who organised the temporary studio space) organised a 2 week exhibition of all 14 resident artists at VIEW from the top which was launched on 1st May and will continue until 14th May. I have 6 of my new works on show.
